Leo H. Zibilich

Leo H. Zibilich passed away peacefully on June 21, 2017 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Charlene Murley Zibilich. Father of Louise Z. Cheramie (Ryan) and Cecile Z. Dunlap (Kerry). Grandfather of Josephine and Grant, Elizabeth and Abigail. Brother of the late George Zibilich, Dominick Zibilich, Mary Blanco, William Zibilich, Michael Zibilich, Robert Zibilich, Foster James Zibilich S.J. and Elizabeth Reckner. Son of the late Dominick Zibilich and Cecile Mary Kron Zibilich. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Leo graduated from St. Aloysius High School and earned his Master’s Degree at Loyola University, New Orleans. He taught at Cor Jesu High School and later worked in accounting and finance for local businesses. He was an avid sports fan, most notably the New York Yankees baseball and New Orleans Saints football. He loved to watch all sports and enjoyed time with his family and friends.
