Dedicated and loving “Maw Maw Lelia”, a resident of Westwego, Louisiana and retired property tax clerk for Jefferson Parish, passed away peacefully on December 18th, 2025, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Linward “Linny” Lefort, Jr. and mother of the late Dana P. Lefort. Survived by her sons, Jed A. Lefort (late Patricia Lefort) (Trudy Dufrene), Jody G. Lefort (Jody M.) and Camille J. Lefort (Gisele). Grandmother to Dixie Doucet (Randall), Stacie Owens (Rhett), Chelsea Gonzales (Kenneth), Jared Lefort (Katie), Austin Theriot, Summer Dufrene (Jarred), Cassidy Quinn (Jared) & Evan Lefort (Catherine). Great Grandmother to Aiden, Taylor, Brooke, Jace, Amelia, Jacob, Brennan, Stella, Emmy, Calum, Debi, Oaklynn, Jarred and the future Louis. Daughter of the late Leopold Troxler & Elmira Zeringue Troxler. She was preceded in death by her brothers Camille Troxler, Irvin Troxler, Sr., sisters Mildred Bodka, Edith Zeringue, Rena Gambino, and Rita Troxler. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews as well as a close family friend, Vicky Ates Brossette. The family would like to thank the staff of Wynhoven Community Care Center & Notre Dame Hospice. Relatives, family & friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072 on Saturday, January 3rd from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00.
