Lee Allen Johnson

Lee Allen Johnson, 68, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.  Mr. Johnson was a native of New Orleans, LA and lived in Belle Chasse, LA.

He retired from Chevron Chemical as a Lab Technician. He was a member of the local USW 13-447 Union. 

He enjoyed spending time with family. He loved his grandkids, hunting, playing pool and golf, listening to music and watching western movies. 

Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents James Albert Johnson and Dorothy Cortez Johnson. He is survived by his lifetime partner of 50 years, Vanessa Johnson; his sons Lee (Veronica), Aden and Ivy (Danille) Johnson; his grandchildren Raiden, Liam, Graham, Tristan, Allyssa, Milo, Lundin, Sarah and Savanah Johnson and Gage McNeil; his great grandchild Sarai Grace Johnson; his brothers David (Johnathan) and Jimmy Johnson Jr (Cheryl) and his nephews Jimmy III and Joseph Johnson. He also enjoyed spending time with his uncle Manuel Cortez and his cousins Mike Roselle and Amy Nuccio.

The family will have a gathering of his life on Thursday, February 1st from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the family home 8683 Hwy 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. Flowers can be sent there. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made via CashApp to $sumafana. Arrangements by Mothe Funeral Home.
