Lawrence Luke Stipelcovich

Lawrence Luke Stipelcovich went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the age of 89. He was a native of Empire, LA and served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He worked as a Commercial Fisherman for many years of his life. He is preceded in death by his wife Nora Maltese Stipelcovich of 60 years. Son of the late Joseph Peter Stipelcovich and Mary Louise Bowers Stipelcovich. He is survived by his children, Kathleen Stipelcovich Welch (Dewayne), Alana Stipelcovich Beaugez (Donald), and Mary Stipelcovich Abadie (Glenn, the late Percy Castille); his grandchildren, Chad Rudolph, Chance Lay, Rachelle Vick, Kenneth Castille, Joshua Castille, Joseph Beaugez; his great-grandchildren, Hali Vick, Marianna Rudolph, Christa Lay, Zachary Lay, Alex Castille, Courtney Vick, and Kacey Rudolph. Brother of the late Willie and Samuel Stipelcovich. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 1pm at St. Ann Catholic Church, 32949 Hwy 11, Empire, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6pm until 9pm at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA and again on Saturday morning from 10am until 1pm at St. Ann Catholic Church in Empire, LA.
