Lawless John Warino, also known as Joe Warino and Paw Paw Joe, left us to be with his loving wife of 68 years. He was the son of the late Sam and Marie Warino of Westwego. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Dorothy Berthelot, his son, Lionel Joseph Warino, his grandsons, Larry James Warino Jr. and Jake Warino, his brothers, Angelo and Anthony Warino. Survived by his daughters, Deborah Warino Walters (Bob Walters), Diane Warino Cain, Darlene Warino, and son, Larry James Warino, Sr. (Brandi Warino), his sisters, Josie Mason and Belle David and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lawless went from being an altar boy for Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church to a job at a very young age at Westwego Lumber Yard, then on to the oil field industry from a Roughneck to a Roustabout until he was hired on at Avondale Shipyard. He was first a Rigger then a Master Docksmith Operator until his retirement. He then fulfilled his lifelong dream of owning acreage with a beautiful home and garden where he was on his tractor until his last day. Family and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 1pm. Visitation will be held from 9am until 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends can view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com.
