Larry Dean Madere

Larry Dean Madere entered into eternal rest on April 5, 2023. Beloved husband of Jennie Pierce Madere for 38 years. Father of Russell Madere (Angelie Shantell) and the late Stephanie Madere. Grandfather of Gaige Madere and Bree’ King (Devin). Great-grandfather of Grayson and Nash King. Son of the late Francis Xavier Madere and Joyce Savoie Madere. Brother of James Madere, Terry Lee Madere, Miriam Dale, and the late Ronald Madere, Kenneth Madere, and Thomas Charles Madere. Also survived by his best friend Dana King, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Age 74 years and a proud lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish. Larry retired from Chevron after over 30 years. He was an avid fisherman known as the Fishin’ Magician, and enjoyed golfing, woodworking, and hotrods especially his ’39 Dodge.
