Kirk “Sheep” Anthony Collins Sr. was sent by God on April 16, 1957, he returned to him on January 1, 2026. Kirk’s infectious smile, his love for his family and friends and his never-ending relationship with God will always be remembered. Kirk found enjoyment attending the Mardi Gras Zulu parade each year. He enjoyed his music and reading his bible. He was a friend to many and touched many hearts. Kirk leaves Rhonda, his sons; Kirk Jr., Brandon (Hope) and Trent. Brothers Edward Jr. (Jill), Kim (Aileen), Trent (Cathy) and Joseph Davis Sr. Kirk will remain in the hearts of his eight loving grandchildren; Brandon Jr., Dylan (Sierra), Angel, Amaury, Jacob, Noah, Karsen and Xavier, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family who cherish him. He is preceded by his parents Edward Sr. and Betty Wheeler Collins, sisters Della Renee, Sherise Giselle, Theralyn Patrick, Ingrid Monique and brother Charles Davis Sr. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11am at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, Louisiana 70072. Visitation will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am. Refreshments will be served throughout. Interment, 1:30 pm at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA.
