Kenneth Joseph Templet, Jr.

Kenneth “Kenny” Joseph Templet, Jr. passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026 at the young age of 40. A native of Belle Chasse, Louisiana, Kenny lived most of his adult life at Crossroads Louisiana in New Orleans. Kenny is predeceased by his father, Kenneth J. Templet, Sr., his mother, Anne Marie Kerner Templet, and sister, Antoinette “Netty” Marie Templet. He is survived by his “new daddy” Steve Vogt (whom Kenny affectionately called “Mr. Steve”), his sister, Alane Templet (Emmett Dykes III), his twin sister, Ariane Henry (Lee Henry), his niece, Abigail Dykes, and a host of relatives and friends.

Despite having autism, Kenny never met a stranger. Everywhere he went, he became the life of the party. Kenny always wore a smile and was quick to ask, “How are you today?” Kenny loved everyone and was happy to go anywhere you wanted to go, especially if it involved getting a Milky Way and Diet Coke after. He loved going to art class, having his picture taken, listening to music, attending church, and watching the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints on the weekends.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 11AM on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 8968 Highway 23, in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 9AM. Interment will immediately follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery.
