Keith James Matherne Sr.

Keith Matherne Sr., age 73, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

Beloved husband of Dolores Acosta Matherne and son of the late Harold Matherne, Sr. and Vivian B. Matherne. Devoted father of Kim Cucurullo (Joseph), and Keith Matherne, Jr. (Nicole). Grandfather to Kaycie Cucurullo (Fiancé’ Levi), Devin Cucurullo, Bryson Cucurullo, Maci Matherne Newman (Patrick), Rylie Matherne, Jasmine Simon (Fiancé Tyler) and the late Ava Isabella Matherne. Great Grandfather to Parker Newman, Rori Dejean, and Briggs Boudreaux. Brother to Terry Timmons (niece Traci Timmons ) and the late Harold Matherne, Jr. Keith is also survived by nieces and nephews.

He was a lifelong resident of Harvey. Keith served in the National Guard. He worked and retired from Jefferson Parish Drainage Department.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Bosco Church, 2114 Oakmere Drive, Harvey, LA at 11:00 AM with interment to immediately follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1255 Whitney Ave., Gretna, LA.
