Keith "Rocky" Lefevre

Keith Joseph LeFevre (Rocky) passed away peacefully at his home on July 13, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Diane Aliff LeFevre for 43 years. Rocky was preceded in death by his mother (Rosalie DeSalvo LeFevre), father (Prosper (PJ) LeFevre) and his brother (Rickey LeFevre). He is survived by his children Raquel Melerine (Steve), Ashley Roberts (Craig) and Jared LeFevre; his grandchildren Hailey Melerine, Brooke Melerine, Kailee Roberts and Jackson Roberts; and his sister Lisa LeFevre.

Rocky was a lifelong resident of Marrero, La. He was a 1967 graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero. He attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL) on a baseball scholarship and was drafted by the Montreal Expos organization in 1969. Rocky loved sports and was an avid golfer. He worked for Zee Medical for 31 years. In 2012, he opened his own business, Metro Safety Services LLC, and worked there for the past 14 years. He was loved and cherished by so many and never met a stranger. He loved going to St. Joachim Church (the little church in the woods) where he met some wonderful parishioners who became great friends of his.

A Mass will be held for Rocky on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 10:30 am at chapel of Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, LA (use the Barataria Blvd gate). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alumni of Archbishop Shaw in honor of Rocky LeFevre (www.archbishopshaw.org). The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice for their loving care during this difficult time.
