Kathy Knuppel Gussoni Mier passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the age of 63. Beloved wife of Michael Allen Mier. Former wife of the late Charles S. Gussoni, Jr. Mother of Tracey L. Rourke, Jr., Tifani Rourke, Kaitlyn Gussoni, and the late Charles T. Rourke, Sr. Step-mother of Michael Mier, Jr., David Mier, Hollie Mier, and Kellie Gussoni. Daughter of Hans Knuppel and the late Alice Knuppel. Sister of Douglas, Judith, Victoria and Richard Knuppel. Grandmother of Charles T. Rourke, Jr., Courtney Rourke, and Tracey Rourke, III. Step-grandmother of Wesley, Wyatt, Michael, and Andre Mier. Great-grandmother of Tyre Gussoni. She was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. She was a very giving person. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11am.
