Kathleen Ann "Kathy" White

Kathleen Ann “Kathy” White, of Avondale, LA, entered Heaven on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the age of 83. She was born on January 9, 1939, in New Orleans to the late Julius Cecil and Catherine Claire Lambert. She was the wife of the late Murrell R White Sr. and adored companion of the late Vernon A Diaz. She attended Annunciation High School and Holy Cross College in New Orleans. Kathy is survived by her children, Murrell R White, Jr., Linda A Vamprine (George) and Bob A White; her grandchildren, Mark A White, Nicholas A White, Shawn P White, James P White and Nicole G Ortiz (Travis); and her great-granddaughter, Autumn N Ortiz. She was cherished by a large extended family and was blessed with many wonderful friends. Kathy enjoyed her many hobbies such as sewing, gardening, crochet, shopping, and dining out. She was a proud member of the Bridge City Senior Center where she was among many kind friends.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at Mothe Funeral Homes, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072 on December 9, 2022. A Gathering will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her loving memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital ( www.stjude.org ).
