Katherine Gambino Troxler

Katherine Gambino Troxler passed away on December 19, 2016 at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Irvin A. Troxler. Mother of Irvin P. Troxler, his wife Juana and her “son” Ronald Weber. Grandmother of Erin Troxler Magouirk and her husband Noah. Great-grandmother of Nicole Magouirk. Sister of the late Peter Gambino and Margaret Davis. Also survived by other loving family members and friends.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to St. Joseph Rehabilitation and Nursing of Harahan along with St. Catherine Hospice for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
Katherine operated Phillip’s Grocery in Waggaman for 18 years, was a longtime hairdresser and was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Waggaman. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Holy Angels Cemetery in Waggaman.
