Katherine Sebro Schesser Stein passed away January 22, 2017.
Beloved wife of the late Walter B. Schesser, Sr. and Carol P. Stein. Mother of Annette Falgout (A.J. Sr.), Dottie D'Aunoy (late Keith Sr.), Barbara Bourgeois (Billy), Debbie Cestaro (Joe), Charlotte Silcio (Randy Sr.), Steve Schesser, Sr. (Mary), and the late Walter B. Schesser, Jr. and Kathy Schesser Guidry. Daughter of the late Marie Zeringue Sebro Montgomery and John Edward Sebro. Stepdaughter of the late Benjamin Montgomery. Sister of the late Emily Barbaro, Dorothy Folmar, and Joan Sessums. Grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Grandmother of the late Sherrie Bourgeois Ridge and Michael Falgout, Sr.
Age 89 years, a native of New Orleans, longtime resident of Metairie, LA, and resident of Bridge City, LA since 1981. She was employed by Walle Corp. from 1967 until retirement in 1990. Katherine loved being outside working in her garden and doing home crafts. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Special appreciation to Total Home Health Care for providing her with their sincere dedication and loving care over the past several years.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:30 PM.
