Karen A. Tassin

Karen A. Tassin passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the age of 57. Beloved wife of Ted Tassin. Mother of Brad Tassin (Jennifer). Daughter of Gail Hildalgo and the late Ernest Hildalgo. Sister of the late Kelly Hildalgo. Grandmother of Braden and Jude Tassin. Also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA for the past 38 years. She was employed by LOOP, Inc. for 35 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gretna, LA on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 10am. Visitation will be held at the church from 8am until 10am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family wishes to express their appreciation to East Jefferson Hospital and their Oncology Department and to Egan Hospice.
