June Foster Stanley

June Foster Stanley passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Robert Emmett Stanley. Daughter of the late Julia Agnes Taylor Foster and Henry Louis Foster. Aunt of Verna LaCour (Fritz), William Stanley (Cheryl), Lynne Vasterling (Dave), and Mary Ordoyne. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA for the past 21 years. She retired from Union Pacific Railroad as a customer service representative after 21 years of service. She loved to walk and was a participant in the Crescent City Classic and was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield, Terrytown, LA on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 11am. Visitation will be held at the church from 10am until 11am. Interment, St. Patrick #1 cemetery. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Tranquility Living Center for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
