June Mayeaux Duffourc

June Mayeaux Duffourc passed away peacefully on February 9, 2023 at the age of 85 years. Former wife of the late Elliott “Tee” Duffourc Sr. Companion of the late Alvin “Sonny” Camardelle Sr. Loving mother of Elliott “T-Boy” Duffourc Jr. (Donna) and Tammy Duffourc. Grandmother of Desiree McCully (Shane) and Cassi Bodenheimer (Jerry). Great-grandmother of Ty, Laine, Alyssa, Samantha, and Jacob. Sister of Tina Mowry, Frank LeBouef, the late Albert Mayeaux, and Earl Mayeaux. Daughter of the late Mary Ida LeBouef and Norris Mayeaux. Also survived by her dear friends, Candis and Irvin Patacek along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

June was born in Alexandria, LA and was a longtime resident of the Westbank. She worked for many years at the Log Cabin Restaurant and later, owned and operated the Harbor Lite and Sonny’s Bar both in Westwego. She was a member of G.N.O.D.A. (Greater New Orleans Dart Association). She will be missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 5pm to 8pm, resuming on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 8am to 11am. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Avenue in Gretna.
