Jules Joseph LeBlanc passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Barbara Blum LeBlanc. Father of Lori Wiltz (Joseph), Heather Boudreaux (Kyle), and the late Terri Lynn LeBlanc. Grandfather of Addison Wiltz, Brenden Boudreaux and Kayla Boudreaux. Brother of Marie Mendel (Kerry). Son of the late Fred LeBlanc and Louise Adams LeBlanc. Also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Jules graduated from John McDonogh No. 35 where he played baseball. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was awarded the Purple Heart. He later worked as a debt collector for several companies, including G.C. Services, Milliken & Michaels, Inc. and Smith Rubin & Associates. He was an exercise enthusiast and sports fan. He never missed a chance to work out or to cheer on the Saints. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA (use Westwood Drive entrance) on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale.
