Judy Reading Riley

Judy Reading Riley entered peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the age of 71. Beloved and devoted mother of her 7 children, Jo Ann Reading, Steven Reading, Patrice Shaw (Richard), Katheleen Peace (Charles), Amelia Ramirez, Amber Riley and the late Amanda Riley; her grandchildren, Michelle, Nicholas, Ashley, Alana, Devin, Laurel, Autumn, Eric, Erica, Summer, Caleb, Andrew, Katlyn and Paden as well to her 9 great grandchildren. Beloved sister of Phyllis Duplessis, Leon Duplessis, Jr., Alex Duplessis, Patrick Duplessis, Jeffery Duplessis and Rickie Duplessis, Sr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, the late Leon Duplessis, Sr. and Lolita St. Ann Duplessis. She was born in New Orleans, LA and a resident of Alabama. Judy was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and a Mom to all who knew her. Above all, she loved her Lord and Savior. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 10AM until 1:30PM. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
