Joycelyn Cambre Chauvin

Joycelyn Cambre Chauvin entered into eternal rest on October 22, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Wilford Simoneaux by first marriage, and the late Leroy Chauvin, Sr. by second marriage. Mother of Randy Simoneaux (Judy), Ken Simoneaux, Chris Simoneaux, Tanya Orgeron (Ernie), Danny Chauvin (Maelyn), and Leroy Chauvin, Jr. Grandmother of Hollie, Randy Michael, Jr., Amy, Heather, Andrea, and Leroy III. Great-grandmother of Makenzie, Taylor, Riley, Randy Michael III, Arabella, Rena, Janie, Charlotte, Ricky, and Isabelle. Daughter of the late Henry Cambre and Thelma Buras Cambre. Sister of Gerald Cambre and the late Henry Cambre, Jr., Carl Cambre, Sr., Pat Camardelle, and Michael Cambre. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Age 93 years, a native of New Orleans, and longtime resident of Westwego, LA. Joycelyn was a choir member at OLPS Church and Holy Guardian Angels Church. She was CCD at OLPS for over 40 years.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church, Westwego, LA on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 9:30 AM until mass time at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church Cemetery. Mothe Funeral Homes entrusted with funeral arrangements.
