Joyce M. Mancuso

Joyce M. Mancuso went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Dominick J. Mancuso, Sr. for 56 years. Mother of Mary Mancuso (Brian), Dominick J. Mancuso, Jr. (the late Cynthia), Michael Mancuso (Malinda), Joan LaFrance (David), Joy Bourgeois (Dale), and the late David J. Mancuso, Sr. Daughter of the late Annie and Hilbert Morvant. Sister of Carol Thompson, the late Carolyn Ann, Lloyd Morvant, Sr. and Hilbert “Bobby” Morvant. Also survived by nieces, nephews, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by one grandchild. She enjoyed her family outings, going to the casino and eating out.  Joyce loved and lived her life for her family more than anything. She was a native of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2555 Apollo Ave., Harvey, LA on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11am. Visitation will be held at the church from 9am until 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to  NAMI, namineworleans.org, The Alzheimer Association, alz.org,  or Little Sisters of the Poor.
