Josie "Aunt Fennie" Sparacello

Josie “Aunt Fennie” Sparacello peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Frank Sparacello. Daughter of the late Gaetano Ditta and Virginia Joia Ditta. Loving mother of Sal “Bo” Sparacello, Virginia Verdun (Louis), Catherine LeCompte (Farrel), Linda Sparacello, Patricia Mire (Edward) and the late Josie Wahl and Guy Sparacello. Josie is survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 5 sisters. She was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Marrero, LA. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Dr. Argote, Dr. Long, Nurse Stephanie and also Kevin Hardy for their love, care and compassion. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 10:30AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
