Josephine Forrest

Josephine V. Forrest entered into enteral rest on October 25th 2023 at the age 90. 
She was the beloved daughter of the late Marcel and Sandu Vinet. 
Beloved mother of Debra Olinde (the late Wilfred), Rocky Forrest (Dolores), Rebecca Petras (David), Linda Buras (Luis), Tammy Porche (Henry) and the late Gary, Felix, James, Daniel, and Timothy Forrest.
Sister of Victor Vinet (Joann), Pearl Collins Huffman, Mary Carter,Frances Martin, Chris Vinet, and the late Lena Pellagalle, Julia Babineaux, Marcel Vinet, and Catherine Vinet. 
Josephine is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren . 
and her beloved pet cat Juliet. as well as a host of nieces and nephews. 
She was born in New Orleans and resided in Marrero, LA. She was a proud member of the Promise Land Church in Marrero LA. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. , Marrero,LA on Monday , October 30, 2023, 11:30am-1:30pm 
Funeral services will be held at funeral home on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM 
Burial will be held at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Ave., Gretna, LA 70056.
