Joseph Louis Moser

Joseph Louis Moser passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the age of 76. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on August 23, 1949.

He is the husband of Kathleen Moser; the father of Shane Moser (Jessica) and the late Melissa Moser; and the grandfather of Emersyn Moser. He was born to the late Lois and Mike Moser. He is also survived by his cousins, and his wonderful lifelong friends.

A native of Marrero, and proud resident of Westwego, Louisiana for over 37 years, Joe graduated from West Jefferson High School. Joe began his professional career as a sales representative in flooring. Joe was successful and well respected as a salesman in the New Orleans area.

Joe was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. He enjoyed spending time outdoors. Fishing and playing golf were among his favorites, but he really loved almost any sport, especially when his son was involved. However, his true passion was spending time with his loving family and friends. Joe was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

His strength and tender nature will remain in the many memories of his cherished friends and family until they meet him again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA 70072, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 1pm with visitation from 10am to 1pm. Interment will follow in Gates of Heaven Mausoleum, 620 Avenue A, Westwego, Louisiana, 70094.
