Joseph G. Leblanc

Mr. Joseph G Le Blanc, 76, was born on November 21, 1945, in Detroit, MI, the son of Kenneth and Sophie (Cooney) Le Blanc. Joseph married Gloria Jean Bailey on December 18, 1965. They made their home initially in Dearborn Heights, MI, where they started to raise their two children, Dannette and Andre after Joseph was discharged from the U.S. Air Force. Joseph worked for United Airlines until he chose to continue to serve his country in the U.S. Coast Guard as an Aviation Technician and an Air Crewmen. Joseph left the Coast Guard and enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as a Aviation Electrician. After Joseph retired from the Navy, in San Diego, CA, he worked at a civilian company maintaining aircraft that supported U.S. Navy training operations before becoming an entrepreneur. For over 20 years he operated his own company, Aviation Communication Maritime Electronic (ACME) Training and served as a Federal Communications Commission Examiner. Joseph was a devout christian and dedicated member of his local church where he served the LORD sharing the Gospel helping to lead lost souls to JESUS. Joseph died peacefully on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the New Orleans VA Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Joseph is survived by his wife Gloria and his two children, Dannette (Timothy) and Andre; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his elder brother, Ronald Le Blanc. Funeral services with military rites will be held in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA.
