Joseph Thomas Kish

Joseph Thomas Kish, a loving husband, father, grandfather, music enthusiast, and lifelong resident of Avondale, LA, died unexpectedly on July 28, 2025 at the age of 62.

Joseph is survived by his wife Kasey Kish of 30 years; children Kelsey Bourgeois (Michael) and Jordan Kish (Kayley); six, soon-to-be seven, grandchildren Elijah, Kolbe, Leo, Claire, Marcella, and Julia; and sisters Margaret Fernandez (Paul), Elaine Clayton (late Mark), and Victoria Naquin (Anthony). He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph T. Kish and his mother, Loretta Nettles.

Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 610 Sixth St., Gretna, LA 70053. Visitation will begin at 10AM with Mass beginning at 11AM. Interment will follow immediately at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4899 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001.
