Joseph "Joe" Hebert, Jr., a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 74. He was born on January 15, 1950, in Port Sulphur, Louisiana, where he remained a lifelong resident. Joseph worked as an operator in the oilfield and refinery processing industry, showing his hard work and reliability.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey B Hebert; his daughters, Sonia Hebert Smith and Jessica Hebert Fuller; step-daughter Paige Laurel; grandson, Jarred M Roberts; granddaughters Kourtlynn M. Mouton (Seth), and Amaly Brooke Smith; his surviving sibling, his beloved brother, Dean M Hebert (Cynthia) and their daughter, Lacie.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nola, his parents, Joseph B Hebert Sr. and Myrtle T Hebert, and his sister Myrt Kulhmann.
Joe was a man who provided for his family and enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed fishing and cruising the waters in South Louisiana. He was a man who enjoyed building things with his hands, spending many hours in his workshops. Joe was a very humble man who had a passion for life and left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him.
His memorial service will be attended by his immediate family at a time and place in accordance to his wishes.
