John "Johnny" B. Punch Jr.

John “Johnny” B. Punch, Jr., born on November 23, 1940 in Bridge City, LA, was surrounded by family when he peacefully entered into the Lord’s embrace on March 15, 2023. He was 82 years old. Johnny was a life-long resident of Westwego, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. Punch, Sr. and Beulah LeBlanc Punch; his older brother, Leroy J. Punch, Sr. and wife, Shirley Cain Punch; sister-in-law, Dottie Rae Leggett; and brothers-in-law, Vincent G. Lombardo, Sr. and Robert E. Shows. Johnny will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy “Dottie” Daigle Punch; his children, Bonnie Punch Cambre (Mark) and John B. Punch III (Ashley); grandchildren, Gabrielle Gros, Madison Punch, Parker Punch, and Kylee Punch; great-grandchild, Grant Gros; his only sister, Elaine Lombardo Shows; and a host of nieces and nephews. His grandchildren and great-grandchild brought him immense joy. Johnny relished giving them piggy back rides, playing hide and seek, or chasing after them only to give bear hugs...
