John Russell Pitre, a native of Charleston, SC and a resident of Gretna, LA, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Darlene Smith Pitre. Loving father of Leeann Pitre. Grandfather of Dustin Milo Weber (Crystal Saenz), Nicholas Tyler Weber, Brianna Nicole Santini and Heaven Lynn Santini. Great Grandfather of John Micheal and Luke Matthew Weber.
Brother of Susanne Marie Pitre, Rebecca Nadine Pitre, Michael Charles Pitre and Timothy Eugene Pitre. Son of the late Betty Sue Hendrix Pitre and Russell Charles Pitre.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 10 AM until 1:30 PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 PM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
