John Joseph Kraemer entered into eternal rest on November 27, 2022. Beloved husband of Kim Brignac Kraemer for 48 years. Father of Leslie K. Bonfield Father-in-Law of Christopher. Grandfather of Natalie Bonfield. Son of the late Clarence Kraemer and Esteline Ordoyne Kraemer. Brother of Edward Kraemer (Marcia) and infant sister the late Ursanie Kraemer. Father in spirit to Cody Brignac, Jr., and Godfather of Brittany "Angelle" Brignac Billiot and the late Roy Ordoyne, Jr. “T-June”.
Son-in-law of the late James "Zero" Brignac (Mary) and the late Betty Dufrene Brignac. Brother-in-law of Jackie Brignac Clements (Carol), Kris Brignac, Brent Brignac, and Cody Brignac, Sr. (Norma). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Age 67 years, lifelong resident of Westwego, LA.
John graduated from West Jefferson High School Class of 1973.
In 1971 he met Kim at a West Jefferson High School football game and from then on they were inseparable. They married in 1974 and started their beautiful life together in Pecan Grove, La.
John was a doting and devoted husband and father. He was also very caring of anyone he befriended. He spent his career as a marine surveyor inspecting river barges from Port Allen to Myrtle Grove, LA until retirement from Jim Johnson Marine Services. In his spare time John was an avid sportsman and longtime member of Dolly T. Hunting Club in Talisheek, LA. He was a faithful man with a deep love for God, and dedicated his life to helping others. He will be deeply missed by all.
