John Henry “Johnny” Schmitt Jr. passed away on May 25, 2016 at the age of 53 years. Beloved son of the late Edna Boutian Schmitt and John Henry Schmitt Sr. Brother of Brenda McDougald (Michael), Stacy Lawson (Michael), Lori Marler (Robert) and Rhonda Marks (Eric). Uncle of Amanda, Tammy, Alyssa, Kyle and Casey. Great-uncle of Blaine. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Johnny was a longtime employee of the City of Gretna and worked for many years as a landscaper.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Hook and Ladder Cemetery.
