John Clarence Hebert, Sr.

John Clarence Hebert, Sr. born October 15, 1944, passed away peacefully at home on September 30, 2026. Beloved husband of 22 years to Annette L. Hebert. Son of the late Norma O’Rourke and Clarence J. Hebert. Stepson of the late Morgan O’Rourke. Father of John C. Hebert, Jr. and Michael Babin. Stepfather of Julian C. Necaise, Jr., Tina LeBlanc, Lisa Sharpe, and the late Chrissy Lee Perry. Brother of the late Shirley LaFrance. Survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Longtime employee of A1 Appliance, CC Printing, Glenn’s Cab Co. and Jefferson Parish School Board Printing Department. A native of Gretna and resident of Harvey, LA. Special thanks to our extended family at St. Joseph Hospice.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 11 AM. Visitation will be held from 8 AM until Service time. Interment Private.
