John William, "Dub", Campbell entered into eternal rest on March 17, 2026, at the age of 92. He was a native of Wichita, Kansas and a resident of Luling, Louisiana. Beloved husband of Eileen Millon. Proceeded in death by his parents, Clinton A. Campbell and Ruby Weaver Campbell, and his first wife, Betty Purnell Campbell. Dub was raised to be faithful in the church with his parents. After graduation from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK with a degree in Chemistry, Dub was hired by Monsanto in Luling, LA.
Dub relocated his family to Louisiana from Oklahoma and resided in Luling, LA. He continued his love of fishing and grilling B-B-Q over the weekends. He retired from Monsanto in 1985 and enjoyed his early retirement playing golf and fishing with his friends.
Dub was a very thoughtful person and a giving friend. He loved his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A precious soul at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Interment private. Mothe Funeral Homes handled arrangements.
