Joey Lynn Rich

Joey L. Rich, age 63, passed away on September 2, 2023. Loving husband of Lori Silva Rich and father of Hannah E. Rich (Tate Bonvillian) and early stepfather to Logan Smith Jr. Grandfather of Blake E. Bonvillian. Joey was born on October 24, 1959 to the late Troy S. Rich Jr. and the late Joann N. Rich. Brother of Doyelle (Doy) R. Breaux (Kevin) and Jennifer R. Butler (Bill). He is also survived by close nieces and nephews, Nicholas A. Breaux (Ashley), Blaine P. Breaux (Kristen), Ashley R. Butler, and Dylan J. Butler. Joey worked offshore for 35 years and loved traveling to and from the offshore platforms. He loved playing baseball in his younger years and would never miss an opportunity to be outdoors. He loved spending time with his family, especially his new granddaughter Blake. He was supportive to everything and of everyone. He never turned away from a good time and was always happy. He loved listening to music and staying busy, yet above all his family was always a priority. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral mass on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 1:30PM. Visitation will begin at 10AM. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
