Jody Zar Berggren

Jody Zar Berggren passed away peacefully on March 30, 2017 at the age of 50 years. Beloved wife of Jerry A. Berggren Jr. Mother of Candace Ronquille and Chelsea Berggren. Grandmother of Tristan Boyd. Daughter of Barry A. Zar and Tess Fazende Zar. Daughter-in-law of Linda and Ed Stone. Granddaughter of Marie Zar, the late John Zar Jr., Thomas Fazende and Faye Bell Fazende Breaux. Also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Jody was an avid animal lover, especially cats. She always enjoyed spending time with her feline friends as well as her loving family. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lafitte, LA on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Memorial Mass will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Louisiana SPCA ( www.la-spca.org ).
