Joann Prejean Daigle

Joann Prejean Daigle passed away peacefully at her home on May 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Lester D. Daigle. Loving mother of Nancy D. Moulliet (Lloyd), David W. Daigle (Nancy), and Dawn D. Gonzales (Kevin). Grandmother of Chad P. Majorie, David A. Daigle (Shannon), Victoria D. Petit (Chase), Ryan T. Gonzales (Savannah), and Tyler J. Gonzales (Tristyn Breaux). Great-grandmother of Stella Majorie, Hannah Daigle (Trent Colombel), Dawson Daigle, Ella Petit, Camryn Petit, River Gonzales and Hudson Gonzales. Sister of Wayne L. Prejean (the late Judy), the late P.J., Ronald, and Norman Prejean. Daughter of the late Mildred Lester Prejean and Percy Prejean. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Joann was born in Lafayette, LA and resided in Avondale, LA. She enjoyed working in her garden and was an avid animal lover. She will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale.
