Jo Ann Pizani

Jo Ann Pizani peacefully entered onto eternal rest on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Jo Ann is the beloved daughter of the late Elwin Gilbert Pizani and the late Mildred Brown Pizani. She is the loving and devoted mother of Kirtlin Peter Durapau, Elwin Durapau (Daughter-in-law, Shelly Jasper) and the late Calvin “Polo” Durapau and the late Katina Evangile Durapau. Loving Grandmother of Harley Marie Whalen, Elwin Durapau, Jr. and Garrett Landyn Arb. Great Grandmother of Nevaeh Marie Whalen, Mykaela Rae Whalen, Ayran Franks, Ellah Louis Whalen and Merrie Jayne Whalen. Sister of the late Brenda Parria (Sister-in-law of the late Lou Parria). Jo Ann is the loving Aunt of Lou Parria, Jr., Gavin Parria, Jenna Parria Caminita, Lesa Parria and the late Kip Parria and the late Michelle Parria. Jo Ann always welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. She never considered anyone a stranger and made sure to feed all who visited. Her passions included gardening, cooking and cherishing moments with her kids and grandkids. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 11:30AM until 1:30PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in St. Piux X Mausoleum, Crown Point, Louisiana.
