Jerry Lawson Sr. passed away peacefully on January 30, 2017 at the age of 79 years. Husband of the late Emily Greer Lawson. Father of Jerry Lawson Jr., Dwayne Lawson, Daryl Lawson, Roger Miles Jr., the late Craig, Kirt and Albert Hildebrand. Brother of Ruby Lawson Videl, Mildred Lawson Oldham, the late Hazel Lawson Haley, Maizebell Lawson Bruce, Thelma Lawson Carter, Shirley Lawson Pierce, Joann Lawson Burns, Curtis, John Roy, Blanchard, Donald and George Lawson. Grandfather of Albert, Aaron, Anthony and Jody Lawson, Taylor, Alexis, Kevin and Roger Miles III, Bryce and Ayden Strada, Jeremy and Brandon Keeton. Great-grandfather of Adalyn, Aiden and Aubrey Lawson. Son of the late Lucille Dufrene Lawson and Roy Lawson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Funeral Services will follow. Interment Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Belle Chasse, LA.
