Jerry was born on a sweltering hot August summer day 1949 in Hale Center, Texas and met the love of his life in Miami, AZ marrying Esperanza Madrid and raising 4 children. A loving father, he would always go above and beyond for his family, friends and anyone who was in need. He was a tugboat captain for 50 years on the Mississippi river. Jerry wanted everyone to not be saddened by his departure but to keep the fond memories of all the loving and great times that were endured while he was on earth.
He left this earth loved, and too soon, but will continue his journey with the best intentions as he always did; this is a journey that we will all have to make and we will have to make it alone.
Jerry Sr. will be missed but never forgotten as he leaves us all with the silliest, craziest, loving memories that friends and family can ask for, Fly high Jerry Aragon, Sr.
