Jeanne Wahlig Ray

Jeanne Wahlig Ray entered into eternal rest on May 10, 2023. Beloved wife of the late C. H. Ray. Mother of Sharon Boustead (late William), Jimmy Ray (Kathy), and Linda Gieseler (Ken). Grandmother of Thomas Boustead, Bradley Boustead, Alicia Valenti (Richard), Joseph Boustead, Scott Ray (Raquel), Elizabeth Ray, Donald Moore, Raymond Moore, and Jennifer Gegenheimer (Paul). Great-grandmother Madison, Layla, Sam, Cole, Valentina, Landen, Jon-Paul, and Frankie Sue. Daughter of the late Daniel Wahlig and Mary Belsom Wahlig. Sister of the late Floy Gardemal and Frederick Wahlig. Age 92 years, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Gretna, LA. Jeanne was an avid golfer and member of New Orleans Women’s Golf association.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 1:30 PM. Interment Hope Masuoleum, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until mass time.
