JayLynn Jackson Wolf

JayLynn Jackson Wolf, age 65, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024 in the presence of her loved ones.  JayLynn was born on May 16, 1958 in New Orleans, Louisiana, a native of Terrytown, and a longtime resident of  Ponchatoula. 

JayLynn was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She devoted her life to raising her three children and cherished every moment spent with her four grandchildren.  JayLynn was grateful for the relationships she had with her family and friends. In her spare time, she found immense joy writing poetry, and recently became a published poet. JayLynn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

JayLynn is survived by her husband Richard Wolf, her children; Jayna Berthelot (Justin), Jayme Graham (C J), Joseph Caminita III (Tonya), Grandchildren; Jayden, Jaya, Jackson, and Annalise. Her father John “J.W.” Jackson Sr, her brother John William Jackson Jr.  (Ellia), nieces and nephews; Jason Rooney, Jordan Jackson, Mia Jackson, Marley Jackson, Jeanne Denning (Patrick), Nolan Berry, her brother in laws; Leland Wolf (Monica), Michael Wolf (Shannon) 

JayLynn was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Behler Jackson; her siblings, Jolene Jackson Acy and Jay Paul Jackson; brother in laws, Allen Acy Jr. and Van Wolf and her niece, Jessica Jackson.

A private funeral service and Mass will be held in her honor.
