Janet T. Campo Orgeron, born on February 2, 1932, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Clovis J. Orgeron for over 56 years. Mother of Clovis K. Orgeron (Dale). Daughter of the late John and Faustine Campo. Sister of the late John, Ray and Uyles Campo, Mary Lee Esser, Isabell Blank, Maude Cotton, Adele Williams, Roselie Jeanfeau, William Campo, and Evelyn Campo. Sister-in-law of Helen Orgeron. Grandmother of Kenneth Orgeron (Shannon), and Jason Paul Orgeron (Angela). Great grandmother of Hunter, Holden, Claire, and Benjamin Orgeron. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She and her husband were married in St. Joseph Catholic Church of Gretna, were devote Catholics, and both were recipients of the St. Louis Medallion. She traveled to lots of places for 20 years as a Navy wife. She enjoyed selling cookies at the Gretna Farmers Market and working on the St. Joseph Altar with her lifelong friends, Mary Trentacosta and Theresa Panko. She will be truly missed. She was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2555 Apollo Ave., Harvey, LA at 11am. Visitation will be held at the church from 9am until 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com.
