Janell Ann Miller, a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the age of 87. Beloved lifetime partner of Carl Malone. Loving daughter of the late Whitney Frances Miller, Sr. and Catherine Zimmer Miller. Devoted mother of Dawnell Sandoz (Steven) and Jimmy P. Hunt, Jr. (Cathy). Beloved Grandmother of Jessica Hembree (Jake), Jennifer Esteve (Brian), Joshua Hunt (Mary) and Brittany Dodgen (Blaine). Loving Great Grandmother of Bailey Hembree, Addison Hembree, Mallory Esteve, Ellie Esteve and Livvy Dodgen. Sister of the late Whitney Miller, Jr. and Raymond Miller. Janell is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a resident of Marrero, Louisiana. She worked in the Food Service Industry for Jefferson Parish. She loved to bake and she was a member of Slidell and St. Bernard Antique Car Club. In lieu of flowers, please have Masses said in Janell’s memory. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 3500 Ames Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 11AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Church on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery #2, 1401 Louisa Street at Robertson Street, New Orleans, Louisiana.
