Jane Boudreaux Murley

Our beloved “Mary” Jane (Boudreaux) Murley, age 80, passed away at Passages Hospice, Mon Monday, July 27, 2026. Wife of the late John “Jack” E. Murley and resident of Gretna, LA. Daughter of the late Melvin Boudreaux and Thelma (Morvant) Boudreaux. Sister of Barbara Eccles and Melvin “Steve” Boudreaux. Sister of the late Thelma “Betty” Donahue, Cynthia Smith, and Patricia “Pat” Boudreaux.

Survived by her daughter Lynn M. Greco and her son, Jason C. Barber (Andrea); granddaughters, Logan Barber and Valerie Barber, along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is a graduate of West Jefferson High School, Class of 1965. Throughout her life, Jane worked as a secretary/receptionist/cashier and worked every job with a strong work ethic. In addition to being a proud member of the Desk and Derrick Club, her work history included: Brother’s Food Mart, 2023; Peter Mayer, 2015; Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine, 2012; B & D Signs, 1997; Chaffe & Associates, Inc., 1995; Prudential Realtors; Pool Offshore, 1990; Oceanic Butler, Inc., 1978; I.L. Lyons Co., 1977; and Schwegmann’s Supermarket.

In accordance with her wishes, a private cremation has taken place. Rest in Paradise, Mary Jane. You will always be in our hearts.
