James W. Szush

James W. Szush, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 87. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Audrey Szush; beloved daughter, Karen Thompson; great grandson, Ty Fleming; sister, Eunice Vinet; bother, John J. Szush Jr. He is devoted father of Jim Szush Jr., Patty Kafoed ( Kraig), Robin Nalesnik ( Scott). He is grandfather of 10 grandchildren, Jason Keefover ( Jackie), Amanda, Charity Knoblock ( Coty), Jessica Granier ( Codie), Andrew Szush ( Ginger), Mary Szush, Scott Szush, Jonathan Fleming, Brooke Nalesnik, Cole Nalesnik. He is great grandfather of 10 great grandchildren.He is brother of Pat Szush ( Beverly). He is also survived by sister-in-law, Elsie Szush; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. His family was his passion. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA.
