James Edward Glancey IV

James "Jay" Edward Glancy, IV passed away on October 28, 2024 at the age of 45.  Beloved son of the late Joann Shields Glancey and James Edward Glancey, III.  Loving brother of Danielle Glancey Guffee and Tara Marie Glancey.  Uncle of of Shane Ruggles, Jr., Emily Guffee, and Noah Guffee.  Great Uncle of Kali Joann Yaegar and Ariana Lynne Ruggles.  Also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.  Will be dearly missed by his long time friend and family friend Jimmy Grady.  Jay was born born and raised in Gretna, LA. and did A/C work for a living.  He loved his family dearly and the many friends that he made over the years.  Mothe Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.  To leave fond memories Jay and to sign the guestbook, please visit mothefunerals.com.
