Jacqueline Calegan Warnken

Jacqueline "Jackie" Calegan Warnken entered into eternal rest on July 21,2026 at the age of 93. She was the loving wife to the late Raymond G. Warnken. They were married on August 12, 1951. Jackie was born uptown New Orleans. At age 5, Jackie's family moved to Marrero, LA where she remained a lifelong resident of the Westbank. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents: Lydia Morales Calegan and Julian Calegan; sister, Nellie Calegan Aucoin; brothers, Paris Calegan and Lester Calegan. Jackie is also preceded in death by her beloved niece, Sarah Trosclair; nephews: Joseph Calegan, Jack Calegan, Claude Calegan, and Lester Calegan Jr. Jackie is survived by 5 great nephews: Jody Trosclair, Todd Calegan, Troy Calegan, Kevin Trosclair, Ryan Trosclair. She is also survived by many great, great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 10:30AM at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., in Marrero, LA. Visitation will begin at 9AM. Immediately following the service, Jackie will be laid to rest beside her husband in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna, LA.
