Jacqueline Hintz Figarola

Jacqueline Hintz Figarola entered into eternal rest on May 1, 2023. Beloved wife of the late John Emmett Figarola. Mother of John Figarola (Gretchen) and Helen F. Bauer (Rodney). Grandmother of Ashley Figarola, Jonathan Figarola, Justin Bauer, and Joshua Bauer. Daughter of the late Benjamin Hintz and Helen Falk Hintz. Age 93 years and a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. Jacqueline was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a faithful parishioner and volunteer with St. Anthony Catholic Church, and longtime volunteer with the Gretna Food Bank. She enjoyed gardening, painting, and baking holiday cookies. She shared many happy times with her friends in the Silver Sneakers. Special thanks to her devoted caregiver Anitha Brown.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 701 Burmaster St., Gretna, LA on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 12 Noon. Visitation will be held at church from 10 AM until mass time. Interment Hook & Ladder Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Mothe Funeral Homes handled arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. Anthony Catholic Church or the Gretna Food Bank in Jacqueline’s name.
