Jackie Phillips Waguespack

Jackie Phillips Waguespack, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.

Jackie was known for her attentive and dedicated spirit. A devoted Christian, she faithfully served at Oak Park Baptist Church. Where, following Hurricane Katrina, she cooked over 10,000 meals for volunteers and missionaries.

She had a special love for children, animals and gardening. Always opening her heart and home to family; her home was a gathering place. To many, she was not only family but also a confidant and source of unwavering support.

Jackie is survived by her children: Lynn Ridolfo and her husband Jason, along with their daughters Eleanor and Charlotte; Daniel Waguespack and his wife Sara, with their children Henry, Robert, Nora, and Philip; and Amy Waguespack and her son Val. She is also survived by their father, Jeffrey Waguespack; her sisters June Chifici, Julie Henson ( Mike) and Sallie Phillips, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Phillips and Sally Wimberly Phillips, and sister, Beth Phillips.

Jackie will be remembered for her deep faith, her devotion to family, her gentle nature, and the enduring love that touched everyone who knew her.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at Connect Church of Algiers, 1110 Kabel Dr., Algiers, LA on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 11:30 AM until Funeral Service time at 1 PM. Interment will be private. Mothe Funeral Homes handled arrangements.
