Jackie "Lil Daddy" Danos

October 21, 1956 — December 17, 2016

Jackie Anthony Danos went to his Heavenly home that was not made with hands, on 12-17-2016. The long fight with his many illnesses is peacefully over. Born October 21, 1956. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Murphy and Gertrude St Pierre; Father, Joseph "L J " Danos.; Brother Reynault "Ray" Danos; Brother Randy Danos; He is survived by his former wife, Gayle Dugan Danos; Mother Jhaniffer St Pierre; brother, L J Joseph Danos Sr.; Sister Marlene Mobley; Brother Joey Danos; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Jackie was a lifelong resident of Harvey, La after leaving Venice in his youth. He worked on tug boats on the Mississippi river, finishing dry wall with his brother Reynault and later as a tankerman on the river. He had a love for fast cars and Harley Davidson Motorcycles and could always be found working on one or the other. He was an avid Pro wrestler and Saints fan and enjoyed watching them. He loved animals and took good care of several cats and dogs he had over the years, with a special place in his heart for his dog Dixie. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral service for Jackie on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11am at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd Marrero, La 70072. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening December 21, 2016 from 5pm until 6pm for family only, then 6pm until 9pm for the public and again on Thursday morning from 9am until 11am. A Motorcycle escorted funeral to St. Bartholomew cemetery in Algiers, LA will follow the funeral service on Thursday. All of Jackie's biker friends are invited to take the last ride with him. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Ochsner Jeff Hwy, Ormond nursing Facility, and St. Catherine's Hospice for the loving care he received.
